We do not access, analyze, or process any of this data—it remains entirely on your device under your control.
4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Local Storage
All personal data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. This data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including:
- Device encryption (when enabled on your device)
- App sandboxing (data is isolated from other apps)
- Operating system access controls
4.2 Data Retention
Your data is retained on your device for as long as you choose to keep the App installed. We do not have access to your data and therefore cannot impose retention periods.
4.3 Data Deletion
All data stored by GlassCount is automatically and permanently deleted when you uninstall the App from your device. There is no cloud backup or server-side storage, so uninstalling the App completely removes all your data.
5. Third-Party Services
5.1 RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat processes:
- Purchase receipts from Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Subscription status (active, expired, cancelled)
- An anonymous user identifier (not linked to your personal identity)
RevenueCat does NOT have access to any of your drink data, health information, or personal content entered into the App.
For more information, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
5.2 Apple App Store and Google Play Store
When you make a purchase, your payment is processed directly by Apple (for iOS) or Google (for Android). We never see or store your payment information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.). Payment processing is governed by:
5.3 Expo Notifications (Optional)

6.6 Rights Under CCPA (California Users)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information. Summary
In short: Your personal data stays on your device. We don't have user accounts, we don't sync to the cloud, we don't track you, and we don't see your data. The only external service we use is RevenueCat for managing purchases, which only processes purchase receipts—not your drink data or health information. When you uninstall the App, all your data is permanently deleted.
